Museum of Free Derry

The newest museum on the city’s landscape is the multi-million pound Museum of Free Derry. The flagship building features the sights and sounds from one of the city’s most turbulent periods. Focussing on Bloody Sunday and the era from 1968 -1972 the museum is also located where much of the history that it portrays occur and holds an archive of over 25,000 individual items relating to this period.
